Due to hard work and stewardship of their private ranchlands, the Guild
and Barker families have provided a unique opportunity for the dedicated
fly fisher. If you are one who looks forward to the challenge of fishing
still-waters (which aren’not still most of the time because of wind),
these private reservoirs in southwest Wyoming are sure to test your casting
skills, techniques and tactics. Be aware of your peaceful surroundings and
enjoy the entire experience.
Keep an open mind
and with a lot of patience these reservoirs may well give up your trophy
of a lifetime-they have for me over the years. For myself, the raw beauty
of the land and the challenge is what makes it special-not the number of
fish released.
Keep your rod
tip low and the slack out of your fly line.
Tight lines and big trophy fish.
