The Guild Ranch has been our family's since around 1867. It is a working cattle ranch home to around 2,000 head of cattle. It is also home to some great hunting property for elk, mule deer, antelope, and moose. We also have one of the best fly fishing lakes to be found anywhere. We operate on 20,000+ acres of private property in southwest Wyoming just two hours from Salt Lake City, UT.

We are also home to the following historical sites. Mormon Trail, California Trail, Pony Express Station, Transcontinental Railroad bed, ghost town of Piedmont, and the Piedmont charcoal kilns. So not only will you be able to enjoy our hunting and fishing you will be able to explore the historical sights that are located on the Guild Ranch.

Guild Ranch Recreation welcomes you to some of the best Lake fly fishing anywhere. Our 200 surface acre reservoir is private with limited access only. Our average fish ranges from 3 to 5lbs. Our bigger fish range from 8 to 15lbs. Our fish fight like no other fish you have had on your fly rod. Don't believe me? Then come try it for yourself, bet you come back!

At the present time our reservoir holds rainbows and cut bows that push 15 lbs. We also have browns, brookies, tigers, and a steelhead strain of rainbow.
